180 Magazin – No. 3 “Strategies”

Book

180 Magazine is a self-initiated publication project that invites participants from various fields to submit entries on a specific theme. The theme of the third issue was “Strategies,” resulting in a 173-page book featuring creative texts, stories, illustrations, and research.

As part of the editorial team and as the book designer, my task was to find a visual framework where the diverse contributions could retain their individuality while coming together convincingly as a whole. The blue riso print, with its characteristic texture, creates this unifying element without requiring further intervention in the submitted layouts. A loose screenprinted dust jacket holds the contributions together without making the object feel too closed off.

With contributions by: Karlotta Bohacz, Max Brittner, Lorin Brockhaus, Olga Liva Bruun, Jb Burquet, Nicole Collignon, Olga Corcilius, Eli Elis, Hanako Emden, Rahel Fügener, Aaron Gaab, Lucie Gallas, Juri Groß, Inka Hilsenbek, Matthias Holznagel, Eva Hubich, Cyril Hübscher, Raphael Jörger, Hanne Kaunicnik, Max Keller, Richard Klippfeld, Heinrich Kühtreiber, Sohyeon Lee, Clara Lehmann, Sophie Lindt, Frederic Maier, Lucas Manser, Lydia Marx, Lion Mayer, Felicia Nguyen, Gala Alicia Ostan Oźbolt, Matthias Pichl, Silke Ries, Sören Sandbothe, Valentin Sautier, Helene von Schirach, Milad Shamoradi, Emilia Sladek, Magda Standke, Pol Summer, Iris Vermeulen
