Under the title “Futurities” the program focused on museum objects as research material in order to collaboratively develop new perspectives on the future and new narratives. In the process, sensitive objects and historical aspects such as violence, loss, and the uncategorizable were discussed in depth, drawing on both the past and the present. Through close exchange between researchers, artists, and the audience, a dynamic, multi-layered spectrum of visions for the future emerged.

The design focuses on the margins and transitions. Perforation lines divide the format into smaller sections that, when detached from the whole, function as standalone flyers for the individual program items. A gap emerges across the entire format. In this way, the concept visually and tactilely addresses the central research questions of loss, violence, absence, and potential.
